Let’s be honest - ALL of us are ready for  Cuffing Season 2025 - the tour and quite literally. Summer vibes are over! Break out the hot co-co and the chestnuts. And PLUS - our favorite concerts of the year from some of our fav R&B boys who know how to hit the seasonality of it all just right. We’ve got a slew of concerts coming this season - but NONE we’re as excited about like the Jagged Edge show coming right here this November. On Friday the 21st - the ATL R&B group brings their Cuffing Season 2025 tour right here to Birmingham for us to sing a long to, for us to cry to, and of course - to bring our baes to. So - y’all ready for the show of the year?! GOOD - ‘cause we are too! 

So - unless you’ve been living under a rock, or you just weren’t that tapped in during the 90s - we know you’ve heard of Jagged Edge before if you’re tapped into your R&B classics, or even if you just grew up blasting slow jams off burned CDs and watching 106 & Park countdowns after school. This Atlanta-born and raised group first came together back in 1995, and while everyone knows their timeless anthems like Let’s Get Married and Promise, the foundation was built on raw deep cuts like I Gotta Be and The Way That You Talk. They inspired a generation with both their radio hits and their deep cuts - and filled every black house from Georgia to Chicago and then some. Those early records shot straight to the top of the R&B charts and proved they were here to stay. Founded by twins Brandon and Brian Casey, the group even pulled their name from a Wu-Tang Clan reference — a nod to ODB’s “Jagged Edge” line in RZA’s track Snakes. From their self-titled debut all the way to their multi-platinum and gold-certified follow-ups, Jagged Edge carved out a legacy as one of the definitive groups of the late 90s and 2000s. Now, 30 years deep with nothing left to prove, it makes perfect sense that they’re hitting the road for the Cuffing Season Tour — the ultimate throwback to when R&B ruled the radio and every mix CD had a Jagged Edge cut.

So yeah y’all… like we said — this one’s gonna be a can’t miss romance session. The Cuffing Season Tour is bringing nothing but heat to the BJCC Concert Hall, and Birmingham is about to feel it. Grab your boo, your crew, and maybe even your old Sidekick (the phone y’all, the phone) for the vibes. Because November 21st is set to feel like those early-2000s nights when R&B ruled everything.
